We arrived in the rain late last night and crashed out until late morning. So today, we took an easy day after the long and strenuous journey to Hokkaido. Taking a look at some of the nearby attractions in Sapporo city, we decided that there was no way we could come all the way to Japan without going in one of their famous arcades. These things appear everywhere, in manga, anime and Japanese drama all over the world.
So we bopped, slammed, danced and played our way through the afternoon, before heading back for bed. Just walking through Sapporo city is an experience in itself, we seem to have found ourselves in the clubbing District of Japan, with plenty of bars, restaurants and vivid lights to enhance the night life. And of course, it's never difficult to orienteer in a place like this, with a brightly coloured ferris wheel always spinning in the background.
