NEPAL: Never Ending Peace And Love

When in Kathmandu, I was beginning to wonder why Nepal is such a massive travellers destination. But now that we are in Pokhara, I finally understand why. It's breathtakingly beautiful here, with a vast lake and green mountains in every direction. Just be

ing in a place like this, is the most peaceful experience.

Yesterday we caught a boat across the lake, rowing through the mossy water where the locals were swimming amongst the fish. Upon reaching the other side, we started the hour long steep trek up the mountainside, towards the famous Peace pagoda of the Pokhara mountains. This was the kind of journey that burns, your legs, your lungs, your whole body. There were several view points along the way, where we were able to catch amazing sights of the lake and surrounding mountains far below.

And when we reached the top, we were found ourselves in front of a beautiful gold and white temple, with the Buddha sat outside. You could walk 360 degree around and see beautiful views from all sides, and I bet that on a clearer day it would be one of the most beautiful places I have seen. We took a couple of quick snaps, and then rushed back down the mountainside to meet the guide who had come to ferry us back across the water.
